The volunteer program offers career mentoring to the community of international students.
Description
The International Gettysburgians Network is a career mentorship program offered to the international student community. International Gettysburgians will have the opportunity to connect with international alumni who understand their experience and are excited to be a part of current students' career development. Students enrolled in the program are matched with at least one international alumnus/alumna, and receive advice on one or more of the following:
- General career advice
- Connections with internship opportunities
- Summer job/internship search
- Introductions and networking
- Graduate school
- Informational interviews
- Application process at the mentor’s organization
- Job shadowing
- Visa sponsorship conversations
