Lodging

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, details regarding on-campus lodging for the summer conference are still in flux. We are hoping to be able to offer a variety of options from the below listed lodging arrangements, but we can make no guarantees at this time about what lodging amenities might be available to us in June. Please register for the package you are most interested in, listing any roommate preferences. Should this specific package not be available in June, we will notify you as soon as possible and will be happy to issue you either a full refund (should you need to cancel your registration entirely) or the difference between your selected lodging option and your preferred package from the available options. Thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility!

More Information

Some assortment of the following buildings may be utilized for conference housing. Specific dormitory buildings are subject to change, based on potential renovation work. If a listed dormitory is not in use, a comparable one will be used in its place.

Quarry Apartments: Corkran Hall, Haaland Hall, Hazlett Hall, and West Hall

Built in 1999, the Quarry suites complex contains apartment-style residence halls. Each apartment contains 5-7 private bedrooms, a kitchenette (full-size refrigerator, sink, microwave, and cabinet space), a bathroom, and common room. Each private bedroom is equipped with an extra-long bed (39" x 80" x 6 1/2"), a desk, a chair, a dresser, and closet space. Gettysburg College will provide sheets, towels, and pillows to all conference participants staying on campus. The Quarry suites are air-conditioned.

Paxton Hall, Lahm Hall, or Colonial Hall

Colonial Hall is a residence hall located on the east side of campus. It is the furthest dormitory from the conference venues, but many participants prefer it for its close proximity to the center of Gettysburg (only a few blocks from the town square). Formerly an operating motel, Gettysburg College acquired the facility in 2002 and converted it into dormitory space. Each room in Colonial Hall contains one private bathroom, a small refrigerator, a bookshelf, mirror, two extra-long beds (39" x 80" x 6 1/2"), desk, chair, dresser, and closet space. Colonial Hall is air-conditioned, and has its own parking lot. Visit the Residence Life page for more details on Colonial Hall.
