Last spring, students in the Institute's Environmental Leadership program conducted research on equitable beach access in Palm Beach County, Florida. Their data has now been published in Environmental Justice.

- Ryan Hass, diplomat and former China director for the National Security Council, joined The Scowcroft Group's Kevin Nealer to discuss the U.S.-China relationship in an age of competitive interdependence.
- The Undergraduate Fellows hosted a discussion panel on U.S. foreign policy from Eisenhower to Reagan.
- Howard Ernst published "Parking Access, Beach Usage, and Race" in Environmental Justice, based on research performed by Environmental Leadership participants.
- Prof. Anne Douds led a collaborative research project with Gettysburg students for her upcoming book: Bold Women of the Eisenhower Era: Feminism, Leadership, and the 1950s.
- Students in Susan Eisenhower's Strategy and Leadership in Transformational Times program are developing strategies to combat climate change. The cohort has integrated lessons on leadership and conversations with practitioners to inform their work.
- Contours of the Middle East students completed a crisis simulation led by program leader Danny Sebright. The students worked in groups to develop a strategy for responding to a regional emergency compounded by domestic political factors.
- The Fielding Center for Presidential Leadership Study hosted Jack Goldsmith, author of After Trump: Reconstructing the Presidency, for a discussion of ways to add guardrails to executive branch norms.

- Jessica Alicea ’22 is interning at McNeil, Gray and Rice, a strategic communications agency based in Boston.

- Henry Klimowicz ’16 uses the practical skills he developed in the Institute's Undergraduate Fellows program as an associate at Baker Botts L.L.P., a role he found through a connection with fellow alumnus Justin Blass ’11.
- Ally Schultz ’20 shared how experiential learning through the Eisenhower Institute prepared her for a life and career as a global citizen.
- Meghan Eaton ’18 will graduate from UC Davis School of Law with her JD in May.
- Liam Kerr ’18 has committed to the University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law for fall 2021.
- Jeffrey Lauck ’18 is a program training coordinator for Metropolitan Family Service CASH Oregon, where he works to expand access to tax assistance.
