Leverage the Gettysburg network, attend the Alumni Mentor Retreat

Year after year, Gettysburg College ranks among the top liberal arts colleges in the nation for our alumni and parent network. This stellar reputation is the result of Gettysburgians dedicating their time and talents to mentor current students and provide them with valuable career guidance and real-world opportunities.

“One of Gettysburg’s greatest assets is our network; specifically, the number of successful graduates who are willing to mentor our students,” said Andy Hughes, director of the Garthwait Leadership Center. “Through the Alumni Mentor Retreat, we recruit the most engaged alums to share their experiences, provide strategic advice, and challenge students to be their best.”

The Alumni Mentor Retreat connects Gettysburg students with returning alumni to articulate their “personal leadership story.” Participants learn and practice networking strategies that help them become more confident communicators.

Learn from the journey of those before you. Attend our Alumni Mentor Retreat on November 10. All students must register by October 29.
