Career connections that will change your world

Summer internships

Have you ever dreamed of performing in an Italian castle?

Or maybe you want to intern at NPR, recording their tiny desk concerts and meeting celebrities like T.I., Khalid, and Dave Matthews.

Or perhaps sharpening your business skills with an internship at Lincoln Financial is where your interests lie.

Whatever you want to do, Gettysburg College can help you make it happen.

That’s because we know the true value of a college education lies in the exploration students are empowered to pursue. Once classes end for the academic year, that exploration continues in the form of internships, externships, and individual research with a faculty mentor. In fact, nearly 80% of students complete at least one internship by the time they graduate, and 55% complete research with a faculty mentor.

When these experiences are combined with access to the active and global Gettysburg network, it creates an individualized career plan that ensures a successful career launch. For the most recent graduating class, 98% of students were in a full-time job or enrolled in graduate school full time one year after their graduation.

Find out more about what our students are up to this summer—whether on campus or around the world—in the photo gallery below, and learn how you can unleash your potential.
