Generations of Gettysburgians call our College home. Not simply because of the iconic buildings that grace our campus grounds, but because of the relationships that form here—the lifelong friendships, the formative mentorship, and the shared moments that bind us together.

Every one of us is part of the Gettysburg story. And today, we are authoring an exciting new chapter—one that honors our cherished past while building a future that keeps community
at the very heart of our student experience.

This year, we’ve taken bold steps to bring this vision to life. In our newly dedicated Rogers Center for Innovation and Creativity—now located in the lower level of Plank Gym and named in honor of Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Clarence B. “Jack” Rogers Jr. ’51—students are collaborating across disciplines to explore big ideas and
tackle complex problems.

In the center of campus, our College Union Building (CUB) Ballroom is undergoing a dramatic transformation. We’re thrilled to unveil this inspiring space before Get Acquainted Day in April, offering our newest Gettysburg students and families a first glimpse into the connections, traditions, and sense of belonging that define this campus.

We’re also reimagining our West Quad residence halls—spaces that hold within them decades of fond memories! This winter, we opened the doors to our newly renovated Stine Hall (page 6). Now, we’re turning our attention to Paul Hall, carrying forward our commitment not only to enhance where students live, but also to enrich how they engage with and learn from one another.

In that spirit, we’re proud that several accomplished alumni
are finding their way home, bringing their experience and leadership back to Gettysburg College. Rob Schwartz ’92, a third-generation Gettysburgian and former senior executive at global companies like IBM and AT&T, now leads our enrollment strategy as Vice President for Enrollment and Educational Services. Amy Layman ’94 is guiding our fundraising and engagement efforts as Associate Vice President for College Advancement and Campaign Director (page 9). And Troy Dell ’95
has returned to serve as Executive Director of Athletics and Recreation, to empower our student-athletes to grow as leaders and teammates while competing for conference and NCAA championships (page 5).

Above all else, Gettysburg is about community—the people and the place that make this College home. As we look to the future, I’m heartened by all the ways this community continues to rally around our students and steward what makes Gettysburg so special. Together, we are building something truly lasting—something worthy of the generations of Gettysburgians still to come.

Sincerely,

Bob Iuliano
President
