Gettysburg College does not provide on-campus storage for students. There are multiple storage options available to students. See the full list.
Groff's Moving and Storage
Students who choose this option will take their items to a central location on campus where Groff’s will be waiting with their storage truck. Groff’s will take all storage items away to their climate-controlled warehouse for the entire summer. They perform this service with minimal cost, and students pay Groff’s directly at the time of drop-off. There are two days that Groff’s will be on campus this May:
- Wednesday, May 8, 2019 (Reading Day), 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 11, 2019, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Groff’s will return to campus in August. Students are responsible to go to Groff’s moving truck here on campus to retrieve their items. They will bring all items back to campus on the following date:
- Sunday, August 25, 2019, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Early arrival students, please note: if you are approved to return to campus early, please plan accordingly to have what you need until you can retrieve your belongings.
If you would like to take advantage of Groff’s storage option, please complete the Summer Storage Receiving Form below along with the long-term storage rate form. The forms must accompany the packages you submit for storage.
Please contact Stacey or Jenna at 717.653.6151 or 717.653.1357 or email Stacey with any questions you may have.
Local self-storage facilities
If Groff’s Moving and Storage does not meet your needs, numerous local self-storage facilities provide the most flexibility for a student or a group of students wanting to store their belongings. Students are responsible for contacting any of the self-storage facilities to inquire about pricing and make arrangements for storage.
