  • A full bathroom with a shower-only unit
  • Single-occupancy, gender-neutral bathrooms

Furniture & Bed Information

Apple Hall features customized furniture designed to maximize space and accommodate all bedroom furnishings. Depending on room size, one or two beds may need to be elevated using either a half-height junior loft or a full-height standard loft. Students should review floor plans available in CNAV/MyHousing to determine bed height recommendations for their specific apartment.

Each student is provided with:

  • An extra-long bed (39" x 80" x 6½")
  • A desk and chair
  • A dresser and closet space

Bed frames are adjustable to one of three height settings:

  • Lowest setting (1st notch): 13 inches of clearance between the floor and the bottom of the bed
  • Middle setting (2nd notch): Approximately 18 inches of clearance
  • Highest setting (3rd notch): 23 inches of clearance

Students may request to have their beds lofted or bunked by submitting a Facilities work order request to Facilities Services. Lofted beds allow furniture such as the desk, chair, and dresser to fit underneath.

Loft Apartments

The third floor of Apple Hall (apartments 300-308) features loft-style apartments. These units include internal staircases leading to additional sleeping areas on a second level.
