Stine Hall

Stine Hall

Newly renovated for Spring 2026, Stine Hall is named for former College trustee Charles Stine and houses 106 first-year students. Each room houses two students, with male and female bathrooms on each floor. Each bathroom in Stine Hall accommodates one person at a time.

Each of the 53 rooms in Stine Hall has a MicroFridge, at least one window shade, and mirror.

Each student is provided with an extra-long bed (39 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), a desk and chair; a dresser and  a wardrobe.

The bed frames offer adjustable height settings which you can self-adjust:

  • 1st notch off the floor (lowest setting) provides 13" between the floor and the bottom of the bed
  • 2nd notch off the floor (middle setting) provides approximately 18" between the floor and the bottom of the bed
  • 3rd notch off the floor provides 23" between the floor and the bottom of the bed

Students may also loft or bunk their beds by acquiring the additional pieces (such as bed ends and pins) necessary to do so. These additional pieces will be available in the common rooms during move-in. Students can also request for Facilities Services staff to loft/bunk their bed for them by completing a work order.

For those interested in bringing a rug for your room, a good size approximation is 9' x 12'. Learn more about personalizing your room, including what you may or may not bring to campus.
