Musselman Hall
Named for Emma G. Musselman, Musselman Hall first opened in 1958 as a dormitory for women. Musselman Hall is a traditional residence hall that consists of four floors and 80 rooms. Each room typically houses two students, with male and female bathrooms on each floor. All bathrooms in Musselman Hall accommodate more than one person at a time and are single gender (male or female).
Each student is furnished with an extra-long bed (39 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), a desk with chair; a dresser and closet space.
Bed frames are adjustable and can be set by the student to one of three height options:
- Lowest setting (1st notch): 13 inches of clearance between the floor and the bottom of the bed
- Middle setting (2nd notch): Approximately 18 inches of clearance
- Highest setting (3rd notch): 23 inches of clearance
Students may also choose to have their beds lofted or bunked. Lofted beds allow furniture such as the desk, chair, and dresser to fit underneath. Requests to loft or bunk your bed must be submitted via a Facilities work order request to Facilities Services.
