Huber Hall

Huber Hall

First opened in 1917, Huber Hall was fully renovated in 1999 and it now houses 98 first-year students. Each room typically houses two or three students, with male and female bathrooms on all floors. It is named for Charles H. Huber, whose service to the College extended from 1896 to 1941.

Each of the 51 rooms in Huber Hall has a MicroFridge, at least one window and shade, a bookshelf, and mirror. Each student is provided with an extra-long bed (39 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), a desk and chair; a dresser and closet space.  The beds have two lower height settings: the lowest setting has approximately 12 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed; the other setting provides approximately 18 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed. Students may also loft or bunk their beds by acquiring the additional pieces necessary to do so.   These pieces will be available in your building lobby during the first several weeks of the fall semester, including first-year move-in day.

All bathrooms in Huber Hall accommodate more than one person at a time and are single gender (male or female).

For those interested in bringing a rug for your room, a good size approximation is 9' x 12'.  Learn more about personalizing your room, including what you may or may not bring to campus.
