Bregenzer House
Bregenzer, named in memory of Edward Bregenzer, Class of 1900, is a 2-story house that houses 12 students. This house includes a full kitchen, dining room and common space on the first floor. There are three bathrooms in this facility. All bathrooms accommodate one person at a time and are gender-neutral.
The first floor has one double bedroom and one single bedroom; the second floor has four doubles and one single bedroom.
Each student is furnished with an extra-long bed (39 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), a desk with chair; a dresser and closet space.
Bed frames are adjustable and can be set by the student to one of three height options:
- Lowest setting (1st notch): 13 inches of clearance between the floor and the bottom of the bed
- Middle setting (2nd notch): Approximately 18 inches of clearance
- Highest setting (3rd notch): 23 inches of clearance
Students may also choose to have their beds lofted or bunked. Lofted beds allow furniture such as the desk, chair, and dresser to fit underneath. Requests to loft or bunk your bed must be submitted via a Facilities work order request to Facilities Services.
