Records Management Policy

Documents that are archival shall be transferred to Special Collections on a regular basis and in accordance with schedules to be agreed to by the office concerned and the Special Collections Librarian. Access to transferred files will be determined by the office of origin and through consultation with the Special Collections Librarian. Files will be maintained in the departmental arrangement and will be housed in clean, acid-free folders and boxes.

Appropriate documents presently located in Pennsylvania Hall and elsewhere on campus shall be added to the Archives as time and space permit.

Any sets of documents that are not already processed will be sorted, arranged, and repaired as time allows. Materials may be reviewed for possible discard. Two copies of every College publication will be submitted to and preserved by Special Collections.
