Mark Warwick was born in Liverpool, England and first came to America as an exchange student. In 1988 Mark returned to work on his MFA at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, NY. After beginning his career at the University of Illinois, Mark came to Gettysburg College in 1997. He was Chair of Art and Art History from 1999-2013 and is currently Professor of Art at Gettysburg College.
Warwick's work has been exhibited in Italy, France, Argentina, United Kingdom, Hungary, Canada, Sweden and USA. His works are in numerous public and private collections including the City of Resistencia, Argentina; the Museum of Outdoor Art, Englewood, Colorado; Krannert Art Museum, Champaign, Illinois; and Cabot Corporation, Aurora, Illinois.
