Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of an International and Global Studies major, students will be able to:

  1. Employ tools/methods of multiple disciplines to study international issues and global processes.
  2. Communicate effectively both in written and oral form.
  3. Integrate their study abroad and on-campus experiences to inform their understanding of global interaction.
  4. Produce a research-based capstone seminar paper or project that employs a multidisciplinary perspective on an international or global issue.

The International and Global Studies major prepares students for graduate school or employment in the public or private sectors with a focus on international affairs and global issues.
