Contemporary Music Production

Description:

This major focuses on the use of the turntable and digital music analogs in music production. The student will utilize classical music theory in the formation of new contemporary ideas of music composition. The student spent a year at American University to supplement courses in relation to digital audio technology tools in studio production. The student's senior project will involve composing and presenting a piece of music that encompasses all of the musical ideas that the student has learned in their undergraduate studies.
