Global Perspectives on American Influence
Description:This major was designed as a combination of American Studies and Pennsylvania Teacher Certification in Secondary Social Studies. The major is intended to accomplish two things. The first goal is to look critically at worldwide perceptions of American policies, government, and culture. The second goal is to explore global topics that are relevant to America today, particularly topics concerning the Middle East and Islam.
