Kathleen Iannello is Associate  Professor of Political Science at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.  Professor Iannello teaches courses in American National Government, Women and Politics, and Feminist Political Theory. Her research interests include organization theory, women’s representation in state legislatures, and feminist movements in the United States.  Her book, Decisions Without Hierarchy, explores the possibility of non-hierarchical structure within private organizations.  She has published articles and book chapters on the topic of Third-Wave Feminism and is currently conducting research aimed at identifying political and cultural variables that have contributed to women’s electoral success in New Hampshire politics.
