Megan Ankuda holds a PhD in music education from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She taught elementary general and choral music for eleven years in New England, where she was devoted to deepening the cultural and musical life of her school communities. During those years, Dr. Ankuda was immersed in summer pedagogical training in Orff-Schulwerk and Kodály. She is a teacher educator in Kodály at the Hartt School of Music, and a frequent clinician at the Organization of American Kodály Educators national conference. Dr. Ankuda has taught on faculty at DePauw University and Purdue University Fort Wayne. Her research is focused on education policy and equity regarding elementary music teaching and access on a national level.
