20th and 21st century literature, feminist theory, myths in modern contexts
Victoria Reuter is interested in 20th and 21st century global literature, feminist theory, literature and medicine, first-year writing, and myths in modern contexts. She is also a translator of Modern Greek Literature specializing in contemporary short fiction. Her current research focuses on ranting rhetoric in literature and the press, and narratives of illness in contemporary prose.
At Gettysburg College, she teaches First-Year Writing and the first-year seminar Sex, Psychology, & War: How Greeks Myths Changed the World. In May 2018 she cooperated with the Department of Experiential Education to co-led a group of students and alumni to Greece for a two week hiking adventure!
