Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies

Douglas Page is an assistant professor at Gettysburg College. He researches the political consequences of discrimination and violence, and he focuses on topics of gender and sexuality in Europe. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of South Carolina in 2016. 

His research is published or forthcoming in the American Political Science Review, Social Forces, Journal of Conflict Resolution (twice), European Journal of Political Research, Public Opinion Quarterly, Political Research Quarterly, Political Behavior (twice), International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Electoral Studies, Political Psychology, Journal of Common Market Studies, Political Studies Review, Journal of European Integration, and Politics, Groups, & Identities. His Political Behavior article, “When do voters support the European Union’s involvement in gay rights?”, won the 2017 Cynthia Weber Best Paper Award from the Sexuality and Politics Section of the American Political Science Association.
