Employee COVID policy

• If you receive a positive test, you should stay home or leave campus immediately if you are on campus.
• You are expected to notify your on-campus close contacts.
• You can return to campus when you’ve been fever-free without medication for at least 24 hours and your symptoms have been improving for 24 hours.
• Call your family physician if you have additional questions.

• You are expected to mask, both indoors and outdoors, for five days when you return. (If you return on the 7th, you will mask from the 7th through the 11th.)
• You are expected to notify your on-campus close contacts.
• We do not require a negative test to return

What is a close contact?

• A close contact is anyone with whom you were within six feet of for more than 15 minutes over a 24-hour period without masks beginning 48 hours prior to the onset of symptoms.
• If one person is masked and the other is not, this is still a close contact.

• You are not required to notify HR if you are a close contact on or off campus. Per CDC guidelines, you can remain on campus as long as you stay masked, both indoors and outdoors, for five days after your contact. You should test on the sixth day. If you test negative, you can return to campus but should mask, both indoors and outdoors, for five more days.
