Kim Longfellow is a Program Coordinator at the Center for Global Education at Gettysburg College. In addition to advising students on their global study plans, she coordinates the bilateral exchange programs between Gettysburg College and the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø and the University of Stavanger. She is also the House Mentor for the Global Study House.
Originally from northeast Ohio, Kim graduated from Gettysburg College as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2016 with Bachelor Degrees in German Studies and Sociology. While a student, she studied globally for a semester at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. Following her graduation, she received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship. During this ten-month grant, she lived in Leverkusen, Germany, where she became a self-taught expert in budget traveling and developed strong opinions about various brands of German chocolate.
