Campus Activities: I am a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team and I am working as a lab PLA for microbiology this semester.
Favorite Experience: My favorite experience was snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. Swimming with sharks and sea turtles was a surreal opportunity that I will never forget.
New/Exciting Course Abroad: My independent study project course allowed for me to design and execute my own research that culminated in a 30+ page paper. My project focused on the health gap between indigenous Australians and the non indigenous population. I learned a great deal through this process and most importantly I learned about what it takes to be a culturally competent health care provider.
