With over twenty years’ experience as a leader and strategic partner in student affairs, Dr. Anne Ehrlich is deeply committed to student development and a passionate advocate for the transformational potential of a residential liberal arts college. As the Vice President of College Life and Dean of Students, she provides vision and oversight for a wide array of student-centered programs and services that foster an engaging and inclusive campus climate and prepare students for life after Gettysburg. Previously, Anne served as the Vice President for Student Development at Knox College, and also held positions in student affairs at Woodbury University, Whittier College, and the University of Michigan.
Anne earned an Ed.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MSW from the University of Michigan, and a BA in psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She has conducted research on the impacts of living learning communities throughout her career, and has presented nationally on topics including supporting student mental health, developing inclusive campus communities, and assessment in student affairs.
