Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI)

The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) is a confidential survey that is taken privately regarding one’s life experiences and is designed to provide feedback on both perceived and actual levels of intercultural competence. The IDI also provides a plan that can be used to build one’s intercultural competency skills.

Divisions, departments and groups are encouraged to take the IDI as part of our college-wide Inclusion Action Plan. Department Chairs, supervisors, group leaders, etc. may complete a request form (see below) which will be submitted electronically to the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. You will then be contacted with instructions to begin the survey process.
