Dear Facilities Team,

The Gettysburg College has recently updated the Inclement Weather policy. Please review the attached document. This can also be found on the Human Resource website at:

Just as a reminder, all Facilities Services, Dining Services and Campus Safety staff are considered campus Emergency Personnel.  Our employees have been identified as performing duties essential to maintaining campus operations and are required to report to campus for work as directed when campus is closed.   Your manger or supervisor will confirm with each employee the specific need and schedule, when the time arises.

We appreciate all you do for Gettysburg College during times of inclement weather to help keep the campus safe for our students, employees and fellow Facilities co-workers if you have any questions regarding the updated Inclement Weather policy, please connect with your department manager or supervisor for clarification.
