Dr. Brawley Newlin's research focuses on unique work populations, like gig workers and family microbusinesses. She also conducts research on statistical and methodological issues, like common method variance and heteroscedasticity. She teaches Introductory Statistics, Research Methods, a senior capstone course on The Gig Economy, and an elective course on Work Motivation.
