Patturaja Selvaraj holds the Harold G. Evans Chair in Eisenhower Leadership Studies through May 2025. He received his Doctorate in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) from Alagappa University, India, Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) in Marketing from PSG College of Technology, India, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from PSG College of Arts and Science, India.
Prior to joining Gettysburg College, Patturaja Selvaraj was an Associate Professor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management Area at the Indian Institute of Management Indore, India and taught courses at the graduate and doctoral level. He has also engaged in various training programs for working executives and consulted for public sector organizations. He also worked with National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, India for about 8 years in their personnel department.
His research interests include entrepreneurship and its social community context, migrant workers, job insecurity, industrial relations and disciplinary processes. His research has been published in top rated journals like Journal of Business Ethics, Business Ethics Quarterly, Personnel Review, and International Journal of Conflict Management among others.
