Sabur Mollah is a Visiting Professor of Finance at Gettysburg College. Prior to this position, he served as a Chair Professor of Financial Management at the University of Sheffield, and as a Professor of Accounting and Finance at Swansea University, and as a Professor of Finance at the University of Hull. Sabur has also held various administrative roles, including Member of the Senate, Head of School, Director of Research, and Deputy Head of Department. In 2021, he founded the Academy of Sustainable Finance, Accounting, Accountability & Governance (ASFAAG) and has been serving as its Founding President since then.

 

Sabur has successfully secured a significant amount of research grants from several prestigious organizations, including the Jan Wallanders och Tom Hedelius Stiftelse, the Tore Browaldhs Foundation, the NASDAQ OMX Nordic Foundation, and VINNOVA. His research papers have been published in world leading internationally recognized journals, such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Financial Stability, the British Accounting Review, and the British Journal of Management, among others. Additionally, he founded the Journal of Sustainable Finance and Accounting (JOSFA) and has been serving as Co-Editor-in-Chief of JOSFA since 2024.
