Academic Focus

Olfaction and food perception in children and adults

I am a developmental psychologist with research interests in how olfaction affects thoughts and emotions. I study the development of cross-modal associations, olfactory memory, and children’s understanding of disgust. I am also interested in food perception, specifically what makes people attracted/repulsed by food, and how food perception may vary with individual characteristics.  Please visit my web page for more information about my lab and research.
