This spring, we are offering a variety of virtual programs and experiences for accepted students and their families. Connect online and over-the-phone with Gettysburg students, faculty, parents, and alumni at these events as you learn more about the college and our campus community! Accepted Students may register for these events below or in their portal, and there is no registration necessary for phonecast events.

Registration, information, and schedules for this event are coming soon. Once this information is released, accepted students can register for Zoom events in the accepted student portal, and there is no registration necessary for phonecast events.

  • Wednesday, January 21st @7pm EST – “Belonging at Gettysburg” via Phonecast
    Join faculty and staff from across campus for a phone-based conversation focused on how Gettysburg supports students from day one. Panelists will discuss building community, academic and career resources, campus life, and how students are guided through the college experience—no screen required.
  • Wednesday, February 11th @7pm EST – “Accepted Student Q&A” via Zoom
    Hear directly from current Gettysburg students in this live, student-led Zoom panel. Panelists will share their journey to college, what they’re involved in on campus, and what a typical day looks like—both in and out of the classroom. The session will include time for live questions. Register here
  • Sunday, February 22nd @7pm EST – “Parent Perspectives” via Phonecast
    Join a group of parents of current and recent Gettysburg students for a conversation you can tune into from anywhere—no screen required. Parents will share reflections on their students’ experiences, the transition to college, available parent resources, and how families stay connected to the Gettysburg community throughout the college years.
  • Thursday, March 12th @7pm EST – “Gettysburg Parent Panel” via Zoom
    Connect live with parents of current and recent Gettysburgians in this interactive Zoom panel. Hear firsthand stories about life at Gettysburg, learn how families support their students once they’re on campus, and gain insight into parent resources and opportunities to stay engaged. The event will include time for live Q&A. Register here
  • Sunday, March 22nd @7pm EST – “First Year Seminar (FYS) Faculty Panel” via Zoom
    Join a panel faculty from across campus who teach Gettysburg’s First-Year Seminars (FYS) for a closer look at this cornerstone academic experience. Learn how FYS courses help students transition to college-level learning, build strong relationships with faculty, and develop skills in discussion, writing, and critical thinking—setting the foundation for a successful first year at Gettysburg.   • Wednesday, April 8th @7pm EST – “Life After Gettysburg – Alumni Stories” via Phonecast
    Listen in by phone as Gettysburg alumni reflect on their paths after graduation and how their college experience shaped their careers and lives beyond the battlefield. Alumni will share insights on life after college, staying connected, and the lasting value of a Gettysburg education. No registration required—simply dial in and listen from anywhere.
  • Wednesday, April 22nd @7pm EST – “Senior-To-Senior Q&A” via Zoom
    As you approach your final college decision, join current Gettysburg seniors for an honest, student-to-student conversation about life at Gettysburg. Seniors will reflect on their four years, share what they wish they had known as admitted students, and answer any remaining questions about academics, campus life, and finding your place—helping you feel confident as you make your decision.
