Join us at the College’s Benefactors Wall (near Glatfelter Lodge) to honor Ken ’66 and Elizabeth Lundeen for their extraordinary philanthropic support. The Lundeens are among the newest members of the Benefactors’ Circle, whose lifetime giving to the College has exceeded $1 million.

The Power of Place

This panel discussion and Q&A will illuminate the significance of Gettysburg’s location, and how the College is ideally situated to tackle the “unfinished work” of our time. Engage with faculty, program directors, and students, and hear how they are leveraging the power of our place for distinctive learning and experiential outcomes.
A Look Inside the Curricular Experience
3:00 - 3:45 p.m. | Various locations
Select one of three iconic academic buildings and learn from students, faculty, and administrators who are creatively integrating the curricular with the co-curricular to deliver an impactful educational experience. Locations include Glatfelter Hall, Science Center, and Musselman Library. Student guides will accompany guests to the location of their choice.
A Look Inside the Co-Curricular Experience

See some of the co-curricular programs available to students that enhance their academics with experiential learning opportunities. Guests may select one of three co-curricular spaces: the College Union Building, The John F. Jaeger Center for Athletics, Recreation, and Fitness, or the West Building. Student guides will accompany guests to the location of their choice.
Cocktails and Dinner

Mix and mingle with President Iuliano, members of the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and students while exploring the Gettysburg Approach during this “roving dinner.” Hear about how our approach has evolved to meet the changing needs of each generation of Gettysburg students and our society, and how the College is responding to today’s Preparedness Gap through the integration of the curricular and co-curricular.

Academic Excellence

Through exposure to the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, our education equips students with the capacity to make sense of and respond effectively to a world that has become even more complex and interrelated. This panel discussion and Q&A will highlight the newly established Center for Student Success and focus on the College’s renewed focus on student advising with the creation of Personal Advising Teams.
A Transformational and Integrated Student Experience
11:00 a.m. - Noon | Various locations
A key component of our education is to help students apply what they learn inside and outside of the classroom. This session will give insight into some of the opportunities our students have to practice and deepen enduring skills in real-world settings. Participate in a self-guided, drop-in visit to the Eisenhower Institute, Center for Public Service, or Center for Global Education.
A Culture of Belonging and Wellness
11:00 a.m. - Noon | Various locations
Our future success rests heavily on our ability to create a culture where every Gettysburgian—students and employees alike—can be full members of our community and be empowered to contribute in ways that strengthen our collective perspective and understanding. Guests will engage with staff and students from International Student Services, the Office of Multicultural Engagement, Counseling and Wellness Services, and Campus Recreation and Wellness.
Institutional Effectiveness

To respond responsibly and effectively to several challenges, including demographic changes resulting in increased competition for talented students, we must take steps to balance innovation with careful stewardship of our resources to ensure continued institutional effectiveness. This final Area of Focus will be the central topic of the session, “Rising to This Moment of Change: Presentation and Workshop” that will take place after the Luncheon. See listing below.

Join campus leadership for an inspiring lunch program that illuminates the impact that philanthropy has had on the College and our students. Among the highlights will be the announcement of a new College award and the celebration of its inaugural recipients.

All guests are encouraged to attend this informative and interactive session featuring a keynote address presented by special guest Dr. Ashley Finley, Vice President of Research and Senior Advisor to the President of the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), on the future of higher education and the future of work. A panel discussion and Q&A session moderated by Tracie Potts, Executive Director of the Eisenhower Institute, featuring Dr. Finley and College leaders will follow. The afternoon will conclude with an interactive workshop discussion for all attendees on Institutional Effectiveness, facilitated by Andy Hughes, Executive Director of the Garthwait Leadership Center.

The historic weekend will culminate with a cocktail reception and seated dinner, featuring a Summit on the Future address by President Iuliano on Gettysburg College’s future. The event will conclude with a celebratory reception and the singing of the Alma Mater.
