Why is there a registration fee?
In order to provide high quality and diverse programming for families, it is necessary to charge a nominal registration fee. Instead of placing individual fees on certain programs, we elected to charge one fee that will offset the overall costs of Family Weekend. Registration is not required to participate in Family Weekend, and all are welcome.
What do we get if we register?
Registration benefits include Family Weekend giveaways, Saturday lunch in the Dining Hall, and printed materials for the weekend.
When signing up for events, should I register my student?
It depends.
For the dining options, students may use their meal plan for on-campus dining. There will be a charge for dining options that are outside of the Dining Center.
For entertainment options, you must include your student in the count, unless it says otherwise.

How do I know if you received my online registration?
You should receive an email confirmation from our office.
What if I cannot register online?
Call the Office of Student Activities and Greek Life (717-337-6304), and we will personally fill out the online form with you on the phone.
What if I don’t want to register online? Can I still come?
On-site registration will be available in the College Union Building Lobby, Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note that there is a $5 late registration charge for on-site registration.
What if there are no more tickets for an event I want to attend?
Stop by the registration area during Family Weekend. Sometimes people do not show up at registration or additional tickets may become available.
When will I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be included in your information packet when you arrive for Family Weekend.
What if I have special needs?
Many buildings and parking spaces are handicapped accessible, but there are a few that are not. All accessible facilities are marked on the campus map. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to accommodate you and to make your visit enjoyable.
Where do I park?
You may park in almost every campus lot, unless indicated for service vehicles, campus vehicles, etc. Street parking is controlled by the Borough and will be enforced. Please consider using the Freedom Transit Trolley system provided by the Borough.

The lobby of the College Union Building.
Can we receive a refund if we cannot attend?
Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund for Family Weekend registration or events. Because we pay fees to various event agencies, you are committed to the charge. If you feel you have a special circumstance, please contact the Office of Student Activities & Greek Life for assistance.
I want to make a change but I have already submitted my registration. What should I do?
Email family_weekend_reg@gettysburg.edu with your changes, and we will make the corrections for you.
