Scholarships
Scholarship support provides financial assistance to most students on campus. With costs of higher education rising across the country, more students need aid to start or continue their educational journey at Gettysburg College. Donors who support scholarships provide the important gift of opportunity to our students.

The Impact of Reunion Giving
Reunion class gifts help fund career-ready experiences and faculty-mentored research, provide essential scholarship support, strengthen academic experiences, and much more. Last year’s reunion classes increased donor participation by 31% and recorded gifts and commitments of $11,091,157, including more than $2.38 million to the Gettysburg Fund.

Recognizing Your Impact: Giving Societies
Cupola Society
The Cupola Society is a circle of alumni, parents, and friends of the College whose leadership giving and enthusiastic commitment set an example and inspire others.
Cupola Society members support the College at the $2,500 or above level annually. Members’ philanthropic support accounts for more than 70 percent of the Gettysburg Fund and 50 percent of the Orange & Blue Club, and supports students in every facet of their Gettysburg College experience.

Loyalty Circle
The Loyalty Circle recognizes and celebrates alumni, parents, and friends who make a gift of any size to Gettysburg College for three or more consecutive years. Loyalty Circle donors account for nearly 85% of Gettysburg Fund support each year.

Young Alumni Cupola Society
Young Alumni Cupola Society honors donors who graduated in the last fifteen years who strive to become Cupola Society donors. The Young Alumni Cupola Society offers our young alumni an opportunity to give at a tiered level each year, starting with a $100 gift and building up to the $2,500 Cupola Society level by their 15th reunion.

Parents Leadership Council
The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) is Gettysburg College’s leadership giving society for parents. Members of this group contribute to Gettysburg with annual gifts of at least $5,000. The philanthropy of these parents sustains and enhances outstanding academic and co-curricular programs while strengthening the College’s reputation.

Benefactors Circle
Established to recognize Gettysburg College’s most generous donors, the Benefactors Circle is comprised of alumni, parents, and friends whose lifetime giving of $1 million or more has made an extraordinary impact on the College. Their transformative generosity has made an indelible mark on the lives of current and future Gettysburg students.

1832 Society
The 1832 Society honors the generosity of donors who have named Gettysburg College in creative and thoughtful gift plans. Gifts that qualify for 1832 Society recognition include gifts in wills, trusts, and retirement plans; gifts that provide income; and more.
