1832 Society

The 1832 Society honors the generosity of donors who have named Gettysburg College in creative and thoughtful gift plans, including gifts through estates. Commemorating the year that the College was founded, the 1832 Society includes more than 700 alumni, parents, and friends of all ages with active provisions in their long-term plans. Hundreds more came before them, and gifts from their estates have supported needs across the College, providing everything from immediate support to perpetual endowed funds.

Every day, Gettysburg College students are learning, growing, and giving back to the College community because of the generosity of those who have come before them. Gifts that qualify for 1832 Society recognition include gifts in wills, trusts, and retirement plans; gifts that provide income; and more. By participating in the 1832 Society, you join others in celebrating the lasting impact that planned gifts have on the College's long-term success.
