Campus Activities: I am a member of College Democrats, and am living in the German House.
Favorite Experience: Though becoming a regular in Aix cafes and exploring the city daily, some of my most memorable experiences resulted in my visits to other countries. Of those trips, my favorite was my trip to Morocco with two friends from the program. During our fall break, we spent a week visiting several cities there, and learned about the culture through a private cooking class in the home of a woman who lives in Fes, a hiking tour of Chefchaouen (the famous “blue city”), and shopping in the iconic old-city Fes medina.
New/Exciting Course Abroad: My archeology class and I were taken to five different museums, cathedrals, and cave sites by our professor for an in-depth tour of the major archeological finds of the South of France. We had the amazing opportunity of taking the underwater tour of the Cosquer cave paintings and visiting the Chauvet recreation.
