Campus Activities: I am currently training to be an It's On Us Ambassador, a role I will take on in the Spring, which entails facilitating workshops and other programs against sexual assault and promoting healthy relationships. Additionally, I have been a student office assistant in the History and Classics Office since Fall 2019 and will be returning to this position in the Spring semester. Before covid I also worked at the Den, creating new climbs and helping people climb the rock wall.

Favorite Experience: I loved getting to know my host sister, who was around the age of my own sisters, and spending a lot of time with her. She showed me around Rabat, answered any questions I had, and made me feel at home even though I wasn't able to live with her due to covid. I also felt that I stepped into the role of an older sister at times, giving advice about beginning college as she was about to graduate high school. I still talk to her on a fairly regular basis!

New/Exciting Course Abroad: My main seminar was called Migration and Transnational Identity and through this, I learned a great deal about the immigration system of Morocco and many related issues. I knew a lot about the U.S. immigration system so it was helpful to have something to compare it to, demonstrating the pros and cons of different laws and processes.
