Campus Activities: I’m currently a member of Psych PALS and the Personality Psychology Lab, a reviewer for the GSSR, and the Program Coordinator for Psi Chi.

Favorite Experience: My favorite experience abroad was the Bath Christmas Market. I lived in the center of the city, so I was able to experience Bath’s transformation into a winter wonderland with more than 100 little cabins and tons of fun activities! Having never spent the winter holidays away from home, this was such an engaging experience because I felt immersed in the magic of English culture and festivities. I tried warm cider & ice-skating for the first time, and was able to bring little bits of Bath home with me with all the amazing gifts created by local artisans!

New/Exciting Course Abroad: My favorite class that I took was British Detective Fiction. This was the second English class I have ever taken in college, so it was challenging because I had to learn how to think critically in a different manner than what I’m used to in other disciplines. I learned about the different cultural and social aspects that are engrained in detective literature, which was interesting! One of the main reasons why I enjoyed this course so much was the instructor who made class so engaging. It was her first time teaching a course and she helped me feel comfortable in such a new topic. She even gifted us personalized books to help us stay interested in British Detective Fiction—this is my favorite relic from my time in Bath!
