Campus Activities: Chile was a country with a lot of nature. My group traveled about 30-45 minutes outside of Santiago on the weekends for fun activities. My favorite was biking 18 kilometers in the city of Putaendo because of the amazing view of the mountains and scenery of northern Chile.

New/Exciting Course Abroad: The Spanish course we took with IFSA was very interesting. Our professor provided a lot of insight into the customs, traditions, and social values of the country. In particular, I loved learning different "modismos" or idioms and cool new phrases that are only used in Chile. For example, instead of using the phrase, "¿Entiendes?" for "Do you understand?" Chileans say "¿Cachai?"
