Favorite Experience: My favorite study abroad experience was over spring break when some students were traveling, the rest of us had our families visiting. My parents came and my aunt ended up surprising me! After their flight, three of my friends said all the parents had to meet each other. We decided that we were going to take our families to Marget Island (almost like Central Park in the middle of Buda and Pest) and we were going to take them on those 4 person bike cars. It was freezing and rainy, and my family was so tired. Still, seeing my best friends from study abroad, their family, and my family laughing in a foreign city was so special to me. I met these people 3 months ago and it gave me friends that will last a lifetime.

New/Exciting Course Abroad: My marketing class was by far the most exciting class I took abroad! Before my professor started his own business development company and started teaching, he worked in marketing for many famous brands like Loreal and Nestle. He had so much knowledge, you couldn’t help but be engaged in class! We were able to complete two projects in the class and his feedback truly stuck with me. I was able to use my knowledge from my marketing class in Gettysburg and my marketing internship from the summer prior to build upon my skills and get an international perspective.
