Email: girael01@gettysburg.edu
Hometown: Dayton, TN
Major/Minor: Art Studio major & Anthropology minor
Campus Activities: I am currently serving as the Vice President of Clay Crew.
Favorite Experience: It is a tie between our Thanksgiving meal in Lancaster and my last class at Lancaster. Our group of 17 had grown close during this time. We laughed and relived our time in London. My last class at Lancaster was my documentary drawing class. My Professors had us walk from the train station through different walking paths in Lancaster. We had to document these paths while fighting against lost light as the sunset. It was interesting to see a place I'd been living in for three months differently.
New/Exciting Course Abroad: I took a course called Critical Reflections which focused on psychology about art. I also took a creative writing class and a Documentary Drawing Class. I enjoyed my Documentary Drawing class. It taught me a different way of documenting the world around me. It's helped me to look at the world around me differently.
