Hometown: Reading, PA

Major/Minor: International Affairs Major; Political Science and Peace & Justice Minor

Campus Activities: I work for Admission as a tour guide and Information Presenter as well as a student panelist for admissions events. I also work for my major as a social media coordinator handling all of our platforms. For my extracurriculars, I am a member of the Black Student Union and the Latin American Student Association, as well as the Director of Rituals for Delta Gamma.

Favorite Experience: My favorite experience was being a teaching assistant in the translation department for a direct enrollment advanced class for Spaniard students in the major. I was able to help them with their English translations while learning so much about Spaniard culture and their education.

New/Exciting Course Abroad: I took a class called " Understanding Spaniard Society through Volunteering" and I was able to study the laws of Spain and the autonomous region of Andalusia regarding volunteering. From what they define to be volunteering to the rights volunteers are entitled to and the standards organizations are held to. It's not like in the U.S. where I can volunteer as I please, but a more structured system that works for their society. As part of my class, I also got to work with Sevilla Acoge a nonprofit that works with people residing in Seville to help accomodate their needs.
