Provost Funds for Student Professional Papers and Conferences

Type of projects supported:

Students presenting a paper or poster at a conference or professional meeting. No more than five (5) students per faculty member will be supported to attend any one conference.

Funding may be used for:

Project supplies

Travel expenses

Lodging

Not covered:

Meals

Amount of award:

One request of up to $500 per student per fiscal year (June 1 through May 31). 

Who may apply:

Any student sponsored by a faculty member within the discipline in which the project resides.

How to apply:

• Complete the Provost Student Professional Papers and Conferences Funding Application .
• Faculty mentors will receive an email version of the student’s application and will be asked to indicate their approval by email to jhamming@gettysburg.edu.

Instructions for reimbursements:

• Reimbursement requests must be submitted, with appropriate documentation, to the Provost’s Office within 30 days after the event and at least two weeks prior to the end of the fiscal year on May 31.
• Recipients must submit a final report at this link. (Link will be updated)
