Evaluation Reports

Each calendar year, the Office of Student Activities & Greek Life oversees the Fraternity and Sorority Evaluation Process to gauge the successes and areas of improvement for our social fraternities and sororities on campus.

Previous iterations of the annual evaluation have been in place since 1998 and have measured chapter success based on a set rubric of items in the areas of academic achievement and intellectual engagement, member recruitment and retention, community engagement, and organizational management.

In 2023, the Office of Student Activities and Greek Life moved to a goals-based model for the annual evaluation. Each chapter must complete a number of compliance items in order to continue functioning as a student organization at the College, as well as set goals in the following categories: academic support, career support, constituent engagement, community involvement, community impact, equity & inclusion, organizational management, membership development, and risk management. These goals are determined between the chapter leadership, the organization's alumni advisory board, and the Office of Student Activities and Greek Life. Each chapter's ultimate success is determined by their achievement of the goals set forth at the beginning of the calendar year.
