House Manager/Property Manager Resources
The House Manager/Property Manager position with a fraternity or sorority is incredibly important as their central function is to keep the chapter facility in proper working order. Additionally, this position is to serve as a liaison between the Department of Public Safety's Life & Fire Safety division, Facilities Services, and private contractors if applicable. Below is a list of resources for sorority Property Mangers and fraternity House Managers for both College owned and privately owned facilities.

Room rates and rent collected for College owned facilities go towards maintenance of the facility. Because of this, all chapters using a College owned facility must contact Facilities Services to address any maintenance, repair, or renovation issues.

Privately Owned Fraternity Houses
All room rates collected for privately owned facilities are given to the Alumni Board/Housing Corporation of the appropriate chapter. Because of this, chapters with privately owned facilities should work with outside contractors and their alumni boards to address any facility issues. If you are looking for recommendations for contractors you may contact Facilities Services at 717-337-6700.

Sorority Suites
The rent collected from the sororities for the use of their suites goes towards maintenance of the facility. Because of this, all sororities using a suite in the 30 North Washington Complex must use Facilities Services for any maintenance or repair work and must consult with Facilities Services about renovations to the suite.
Suite Renovations
Please contact Jim Beisecker in Facilities Services about any renovations the chapter wishes to do to the chapter suite. All renovations or alterations must be approved by Facilities Services before they occur.
