House Manager/Property Manager Resources

The House Manager/Property Manager position with a fraternity or sorority  is incredibly important as their central function is to keep the chapter facility in proper working order. Additionally, this position is to serve as a liaison between the Department of Public Safety's Life & Fire Safety division, Facilities Services, and private contractors if applicable. Below is a list of resources for sorority Property Mangers and fraternity House Managers for both College owned and privately owned facilities.

Privately Owned Fraternity Houses

All room rates collected for privately owned facilities are given to the Alumni Board/Housing Corporation of the appropriate chapter. Because of this, chapters with privately owned facilities should work with outside contractors and their alumni boards to address any facility issues. If you are looking for recommendations for contractors you may contact Facilities Services at 717-337-6700.

Because of this, all sororities using a suite in the 30 North Washington Complex must use Facilities Services for any maintenance or repair work and must consult with Facilities Services about renovations to the suite.

Suite Renovations

Please contact Jim Beisecker in Facilities Services about any renovations the chapter wishes to do to the chapter suite. All renovations or alterations must be approved by Facilities Services before they occur.
