Recruitment Chair Resources
Recruitment Chairs are essential to the survival of a fraternity or sorority. With their primary responsibilities focused on coordinating the recruitment efforts of the chapter, Recruitment Chairs can have a significant impact on an organization's future. We encourage all Recruitment Chairs to utilize the resources below but to also consult with their chapter, alumni, and OSAGL liaison to decide the best way to implement their recruitment program.
Recruitment Policies
Eligibility Requirements: In order to join a fraternity or sorority a student must meet the following criteria:
- Be of at least sophomore status (note: sophomore status is not based the number of years a student has been at the College, it is based on the number of credits they have completed and received credit for)
- Have a 2.5 cumulative G.P.A.
- Have no more than 4 conduct points
- Be registered for recruitment through the system or process designated by the Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and the Office of Student Activities & Greek Life (A student will not be considered a member of an organization until they have fill out the appropriate academic and judicial waivers)
