Council of Student Activism (COSA)

On November 13, 2019, several clubs at Gettysburg College came together to form COSA: Council of Student Activism under the aegis of the Peace and Justice Studies Program. COSA has 3 primary purposes: 1) To mobilize quickly as a unit when any of the constituent groups is facing a crisis for which they need solidarity and support, 2) To work intersectionally, once or twice a year, on an event or theme as a way of building community, and 3) To serve as a hub of student consciousness on campus.
