Duke University - MEM or MS
The Cooperative College (3-2) Program enables students to proceed directly from three years of undergraduate study at a partner school to two years of study in the Nicholas School’s Master of Forestry or Master of Environmental Management program. This program enables students to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in a total of five years of study, offering maximum education with minimum investment of time and money.
Engineering Dual-Degree Undergraduate Program
Gettysburg College's engineering dual-degree program combines the enhanced communication skills and creativity of a liberal arts education with the focused rigor of a highly regarded engineering program. Students can take advantage of dual-degree engineering programs in conjunction with Columbia University in New York City, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Complete pre-engineering courses, the
- Gettysburg College curricular requirements and Gettysburg College Major.
- Minimum 3.0 to 3.3 GPA
- Recommendation by the Gettysburg College Engineering Advisor.
- Schedule courses in close cooperation with Engineering Advisor at Gettysburg College.
Since the student graduates with two degrees, all degree requirements from both institutions must be completed, including a major at each institution. The Gettysburg College major can be in any discipline provided the student completes the pre-engineering courses and the Gettysburg College curricular requirements before starting at the engineering school. The affiliation agreement between schools allows many courses to transfer so that the student can complete both degrees in 5 years.
Hood College - Master of Science in Environmental Studies
Gettysburg College has partnered with Hood College to offer an accelerated degree program in environmental studies and environmental biology. This articulation agreement allows Gettysburg students to concurrently work toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees, with the opportunity to transfer six to nine senior credits toward Hood's 33-credit graduate program in environmental biology. This collaboration enables students to fast-track their M.S. degree while benefiting from local resources, enhancing their academic experience and career readiness in the environmental field.
Lancaster University - International postgraduate partnership
Gettysburg College is proud to announce its first-ever international postgraduate partnership with Lancaster University, a top 10 university in the United Kingdom targeted by the region’s leading employers. This partnership allows Gettysburg graduating students and alumni to seamlessly transition into one of Lancaster’s 80-plus master’s programs, including their flagship Master of Business Administration program through its Triple Crown-accredited Management School.
Gettysburg graduates who meet GPA thresholds are guaranteed admissions, in addition to being guaranteed a place in student residences at a Lancaster University-owned or -managed property. Gettysburg College students and alumni will also have access to the Lancaster scholarship package. If applicants meet the eligibility criteria, scholarships will be automatically awarded.
Every year, Gettysburg College’s Interdisciplinary Study Abroad Program in the United Kingdom, hosted at Lancaster University, provides Gettysburg undergraduate students hands-on opportunities to grow cross-cultural skills, gain broader global perspectives, and build strong international networks and friendships.

Loyola University - Master of Business Administration
Pursue your Master of Business Administration at Loyola University Sellinger School of Business and Management. This Emerging Leaders MBA program, designed as a 4+1 program, brings together individuals from diverse educational backgrounds for an enriching experience marked by rigorous curriculum and hands-on learning opportunities.
This 4+1 pathway offers students an accelerated and cost-effective route to obtaining both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree within five years. This program is designed to integrate advanced education with undergraduate studies, providing students with a competitive edge in the job market. The grade requirements for guaranteed admission are different for each program, but at a minimum students need a 3.0 GPA to be recommended.

Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine - Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) Degree Program
Gettysburg College graduates who successfully meet defined academic and admissions criteria will be guaranteed a formal interview opportunity for consideration of MSOM’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree program.
To be eligible for interview consideration, students must:
- Be currently enrolled or have graduated within the last two years from Gettysburg at the time of application
- Maintain an overall and science GPA of 3.3 or greater at the time of application
- Achieve a minimum MCAT score of 500 within the last three years
- Submit a letter of recommendation from Gettysburg’s Health Professions Committee or pre-health advisor
- Successfully complete or be on track to complete all MSOM prerequisite coursework as outlined in the MSOM catalog and website before the start of the academic year of application
Syracuse University - Master’s Degree Partnership
Gettysburg College has partnered with the Maxwell School at Syracuse University—the top-ranked school for public affairs according to U.S. News and World Report—to provide students and alumni with streamlined access to professional and executive master’s programs in public administration, international relations, and more.
Through this partnership, eligible Gettysburg students and alumni benefit from: a waived application fee, guaranteed admission for those who meet criteria, and a partnership scholarship of 40% of tuition charges for professional master’s programs or 30% for executive master’s programs (with potential for higher awards for highly qualified applicants).

Current Gettysburg students may apply to the professional master’s programs after completing at least 23 undergraduate credits and maintaining a minimum 3.75 cumulative GPA. Executive master’s applicants must have at least seven years of professional work experience and a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA. All applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in public service and skills in analytical thinking and quantitative methods.
Beyond the classroom, the partnership also includes: joint promotion to increase awareness of public service; career advising and graduate enrollment support from Maxwell faculty and staff; visits to Gettysburg’s campus by and virtual meetings with Maxwell representatives; and opportunities for Gettysburg students to visit the Maxwell School and engage directly with faculty, current students, and graduate-level coursework.
Penn State College of Medicine
The Early Assurance Program between Gettysburg College and the Penn State College of Medicine (COM) offers exceptional sophomore-year students in excellent academic standing the opportunity to apply for a provisional early acceptance to the COM. Gettysburg students who apply to the program must maintain a strong academic record in a pre-medical curriculum, demonstrate exposure to medicine, and possess a record of community service, among other admissions criteria.
Towson University - Master’s Degree Partnership
Gettysburg students can now pursue graduate degrees at Towson University through the Graduate Pathway Program. Gettysburg students with strong academic records can transition directly into more than twenty of Towson’s graduate programs, including:
- Applied information technology
- Nursing
- Forensic science
- Economic analytics
- Integrated homeland security
- Professional writing
- Athletic training
Certain eligibility requirements, including GPA and prerequisite coursework, must be met, however Gettysburg students can take advantage of streamlined admissions to Towson with no application fee.
Through this partnership with Towson, Gettysburg graduates can now choose from an expansive selection of master’s programs in a variety of specialized and high-demand fields of study.

Villanova University - M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing
Up to five qualified Gettysburg College graduates per year who meet undergraduate prerequisites for nursing in accordance with an approved program plan, as well as fulfill specific admissions requirements, will be invited to enroll in the Second Degree Accelerated BSN track through the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University. Graduates from the College of Nursing will receive a BSN degree upon successful completion of Villanova University’s requirements for the Second Degree Accelerated BSN track.
Beginning with the first year of study at Villanova University, Gettysburg graduates will also be eligible to apply for all Villanova University need-based and merit scholarships and for all loan programs available to students at Villanova University.
Students must meet the following admissions criteria:
- Complete all course requirements as outlined on the Villanova University program website with a grade of C or better for each course
- Earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 through the end of the undergraduate semester at Gettysburg
- Successfully complete their junior year at Gettysburg
