Academic Programs
Master of Business Administration at Loyola University, Maryland
Pursue your Master of Business Administration at Loyola University Sellinger School of Business and Management. This Emerging Leaders MBA program, designed as a 4+1 program, brings together individuals from diverse educational backgrounds for an enriching experience marked by rigorous curriculum, hands-on learning opportunities
This 4+1 pathway offers students an accelerated and cost-effective route to obtaining both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree within five years. This program is designed to integrate advanced education with undergraduate studies, providing students with a competitive edge in the job market. This holistic approach ensures that graduates are not only academically prepared but also equipped with the practical skills and connections necessary for success in various industries. Whether pursuing careers in business, engineering, or other fields, Gettysburg College’s 4+1 pathway offers a transformative educational experience that enhances career prospects and prepares students for leadership roles.
The grade requirements for guaranteed admission are different for each program, but at a minimum students need a 3.0 GPA to be recommended.

Engineering Dual-Degree Undergraduate Program
Gettysburg College's engineering dual-degree program combines the enhanced communication skills and creativity of a liberal arts education with the focused rigor of a highly regarded engineering program. Students can take advantage of dual-degree engineering programs in conjunction with Columbia University in New York City, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Complete pre-engineering courses, the
- Gettysburg College curricular requirements and Gettysburg College Major.
- Minimum 3.0 to 3.3 GPA
- Recommendation by the Gettysburg College Engineering Advisor.
- Schedule courses in close cooperation with Engineering Advisor at Gettysburg College.
Since the student graduates with two degrees, all degree requirements from both institutions must be completed, including a major at each institution. The Gettysburg College major can be in any discipline provided the student completes the pre-engineering courses and the Gettysburg College curricular requirements before starting at the engineering school. The affiliation agreement between schools allows many courses to transfer so that the student can complete both degrees in 5 years.
Master of Science in Environmental Studies
Gettysburg College has partnered with Hood College to offer an accelerated degree program in environmental studies and environmental biology. This articulation agreement allows Gettysburg students to concurrently work toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees, with the opportunity to transfer six to nine senior credits toward Hood's 33-credit graduate program in environmental biology. This collaboration enables students to fast-track their M.S. degree while benefiting from local resources, enhancing their academic experience and career readiness in the environmental field.
You can also earn your MEM or MS at the Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment through the Cooperative College (3-2) Program.
