Brigid Goss (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of Program Management at the Eisenhower Institute, bringing over a decade of experience in public service roles, both domestically and internationally. She is passionate about public service, with particular interests in immigration policy and educational equity.
From 2014-2016, Brigid served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in China, where she taught English courses to undergraduate and graduate students at Chongqing Normal University. She also held leadership roles within Peace Corps China, focusing on emergency response, gender equality, women’s empowerment, and volunteer training and development.
After her Peace Corps service, Brigid relocated to Washington, D.C., where she worked at Peace Corps Headquarters. In her role with Peace Corps Response, she recruited and placed candidates in high-impact, short-term volunteer positions, sending trainees to Malawi, Liberia, South Africa, Peru, and China.
In 2019, Brigid returned to Adams County, Pennsylvania, to oversee the Migrant Education Program, where she led a team to support migrant youth across 30 counties. She supervised the creation and delivery of student-focused afterschool and summer programs that supported over 400 students annually.
Brigid joined the Eisenhower Institute in March 2023, and supports the development and implementation of EI programming and events, contributing her expertise in program development, public service, and community engagement.
Outside of work, Brigid enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs, Cairo and Penny, as well as her two cats, Tibbs and Ivy. She is an avid traveler and enjoys hobbies such as nature photography, tending to houseplants, reading, watercolor painting, making stained glass art, embroidery, and journaling. Brigid is often found listening to Taylor Swift or unwinding with a video game and enjoys working quotes from her favorite shows, Schitt's Creek and Parks and Recreation, into daily conversations.
