Brigid Goss (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of Student Engagement for the Eisenhower Institute. She has over a decade of experience working in federal and state programs in the United States and China.

A graduate of Arcadia University, Brigid majored in Italian Studies and minored in International Relations and Spanish. Due to her love of travel and learning firsthand about other languages and cultures, she studied abroad in England, Italy, and Spain.

Brigid was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Chongqing, China from 2014-2016. She taught English courses at Chongqing Normal University and held leadership positions in Peace Corps China groups centered around emergency response and safety, gender equality and women’s empowerment, and volunteer training and development.

After serving in Peace Corps, Brigid moved to Washington, D.C., to work at Peace Corps Headquarters. She recruited and placed candidates in high impact, short-term volunteer experiences through the office of Peace Corps Response. During her tenure, she had the opportunity to send trainees to Malawi, Liberia, South Africa, Peru, and China.

In 2019, Brigid moved back to Adams County to supervise the implementation of the Migrant Education Program. Brigid led her team in recruiting, providing services for, and supporting migrant youth in 30 Pennsylvania counties.

Brigid loves spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs: Cairo and Penny. In her free time, she loves traveling, tending to her house plants, watercolors, embroidery, and journaling, usually while listening to true crime podcasts or Taylor Swift. She also enjoys peppering her conversations with quotes from Schitt's Creek and Parks and Recreation.
